**Job Overview**

We are seeking an experienced Risk Management Lead - Energy to join our team at United Utilities. This role will play a crucial part in defining and implementing a prioritized management programme for the company's energy assets.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to develop and promote their Asset Management Plans and intervention decisions to internal and external stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Contribute to the Energy Team service provision to the wider UU business areas, ensuring full compliance with required company and regulatory standards.
  • Responsible for the energy programme ensuring statutory compliance is met, and remedial work is prioritised to minimise H&S and resilience risk.
  • Help shape asset management planning with District Network Operators (DNOs) to deliver continuous improvement.

**Requirements:**

  • Strong communicator and influencer with experience of risk management techniques and sound knowledge of investment and appraisal methods.
  • Able to write persuasive recommendations to secure capital funding approval.
  • Preferable to have some knowledge/awareness of HV and LV electrical systems across UU.

**Salary Range:** £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
