We are collaborating with a prominent retail organization that is advancing its initiatives in Machine Learning, specifically in the realms of Personalisation and Recommendation Systems. They are in search of a Senior Data Science Specialist to enhance their analytical capabilities.

This retail organization is seeking a Senior Data Science Specialist to elevate their data-driven strategies.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Developing and implementing personalisation strategies for enhancing the customer experience through comprehensive machine learning projects.
  • Utilizing technologies such as Python, SQL, Databricks, and cloud platforms like GCP or Azure.
  • Collaborating closely with a skilled team and engaging with various stakeholders across the organization.
  • Creating predictive models, segmentation strategies, and personalisation frameworks with a focus on customer analytics in the retail sector.
  • Overseeing the work of an additional Data Scientist.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of a Master’s degree in a STEM field such as Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science.
  • Proven experience in personalisation and segmentation, particularly in Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
  • Experience in the retail industry is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with PySpark, Azure, or Databricks is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience in a management capacity.
