About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Science Manager to lead our eCommerce Data team at NEXT. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for delivering significant commercial value through data-driven insights and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business problems and develop technical solutions that drive business growth.
  • Liaise with data engineering and software development teams to ensure timely delivery of technical requirements.
  • Extract and analyze large volumes of data from various sources to inform business decisions.
  • Develop and implement machine learning models to predict customer behavior and optimize content delivery.
  • Design and execute experiments to validate commercial hypotheses.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders, including regular updates to the CEO.
  • Identify opportunities for personalization and customer experience improvement.
Requirements

We are looking for a seasoned data professional with a strong technical background in data science techniques, excellent communication skills, and a passion for driving business outcomes through data-driven insights. Experience with Python is essential, and PySpark is a plus.
