Maintenance Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to support our production operations in Didcot. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance on various production equipment to minimize downtime and optimize production output.
  • Collaborate with the production team to enhance production efficiency and ensure equipment safety and compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections, servicing, and repairs to prevent equipment breakdowns and maintain accurate maintenance records.
  • Coordinate with external suppliers and contractors for timely servicing and repairs.
  • Work on secure rooms maintenance, including pipe work, fixing gas lines, and pressure systems, with a focus on rotary experience.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a Manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in diagnosing and repairing faults, as well as performing preventative maintenance on production equipment.
  • NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Engineering.
  • Experience with Mechanical and Electrical maintenance (50/50 split).
  • PLC experience is highly regarded.
  • Rope access training or willingness to undertake IRATA qualification.

The Maintenance Engineer will play a key role in the expansion of our production capacity, including the installation of new reactors that may require working at height or on rope harnesses.
