Research Project Skills Tutor

The Study Group is seeking a highly skilled Research Project Skills tutor to join our team at the University of Sheffield International College. As a key member of our Science Team, you will be responsible for teaching Research Project for STEM and Project Skills for STEM modules to international students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Research Project for STEM and Project Skills for STEM modules to groups of international students in classroom-based sessions.
- Mark assessments and provide feedback to students.
- Develop and maintain teaching materials, including formative and summative assessments.
- Act as a module coordinator, leading the teaching team and ensuring the quality of teaching materials.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to meetings and communicate effectively.
About You
- A Master's or higher degree in an Engineering or Science-related discipline.
- Experience of teaching Science or Engineering or a related discipline at RQF level 4 or above.
- Experience of assessment marking at a minimum of RQF level 4 or above.
- Working knowledge of MATLAB and Microsoft Excel.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
