About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief Engineer to join our team at Capgemini Engineering. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for promoting and developing world-class Smart Factory solutions for our clients across the Life Sciences and Consumer Products sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Smart Factory solutions that meet the needs of our clients
  • Work closely with our sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to win new clients
  • Collaborate with our delivery teams to build and implement Smart Factory solutions
  • Provide technical leadership and expertise to our clients and internal stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in engineering, with a focus on Smart Factory solutions and client-facing experience
  • Advanced/Fluent English language skills
  • Experience in architecting and developing Smart Factory software solutions in business processes
  • Platform-level/Major system Architect
  • Deep understanding of product development, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain processes
  • Solid understanding of Smart Factory concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Demonstrable relationships with Senior Clients up to CXO Level
  • Experience of working with near-shore and offshore engineering centers
  • A detailed knowledge of the Life Sciences and Consumer Products sectors
  • A developed understanding of project planning, budgeting, and financial management
  • Expertise on 2 of 4 major ISV platforms (Siemens, PTC, Dassault Systems, AVEVA)
