Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team, providing practical and emotional care to individuals in their daily lives. As a key member of our adult care team, you will work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality support plans and activities that promote independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To participate in the implementation of individualized support plans, prioritizing the needs and goals of service users
  • Maintain effective communication with service users, families, and other staff members, respecting confidentiality and boundaries
  • Prepare meals, perform cleaning and laundry duties, and maintain accurate records as required
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to provide exceptional care and support
  • Assist with personal care tasks
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards one
  • Experience supporting adults with complex needs, including learning disabilities and mental health issues
  • Confidence working independently or as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for working with vulnerable adults and commitment to safeguarding
