The ideal candidate will oversee a large national fleet of over 150 vehicles and 160 trailers, ensuring seamless 24/7, 365-day operations that meet the needs of internal and external customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage high standards within Scania Dealership accredited facilities
  • Deliver effective leadership and maintain rigorous standards of vehicle maintenance and operational efficiency

This role requires strong leadership skills with experience in team leadership, motivation, coaching, and day-to-day management. The successful candidate will have a proven background in managing large HGV workshops and possess comprehensive technical skills for diagnosing vehicle issues and understanding maintenance needs.

Requirements:
  • A recognized apprenticeship in HGV mechanics
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

The National Fleet Manager will be responsible for establishing and monitoring team KPIs to support successful national fleet operations. They will build a customer-centric and collaborative team environment focused on fleet and customer service. Additionally, they will provide ongoing training, coaching, and performance reviews to develop team skills and drive high standards.
