Psychiatric Expert in Dementia Care

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to lead our team in providing expert care to older adults with complex mental health needs. Based in Sunderland, you will be working with the Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust (CNTW).
About the JobThis role involves providing senior expertise in the assessment and treatment of adults over 65 years presenting cognitive impairment and comorbid conditions. You will hold responsibility for patients admitted to the unit and provide medical leadership to the multi-disciplinary team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior psychiatrist to improve pathways for patients within the service and make a real difference in the lives of older adults with complex mental health needs.
Key Skills and Qualifications- CCT or equivalence in old age Psychiatry.
- Approved Clinician status.
- Experience in leading teams and providing medical leadership.
The successful candidate will receive a salary of £105,504 - £139,882 per year, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
