### Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager/Senior Project Manager to join our team at Opals Group. As a key member of our electrical infrastructure team, you will be responsible for managing construction schedules and budgets, dealing with unexpected costs, and ensuring that projects meet agreed technical standards.

### Key Responsibilities

* Prepare tenders for clients and commercial bids to bring in new business
* Develop and present project proposals
* Meet with clients to understand their requirements
* Produce plans and estimate budgets and timescales
* Discuss, draft, review, and negotiate the terms of business contracts
* Agree budgets and timescales with clients
* Manage construction schedules and budgets
* Deal with unexpected costs
* Attend site meetings to monitor progress
* Act as the main point of contact for clients, site, and project managers
* Work with third parties to ensure everyone understands their roles and responsibilities
* Oversee final accounts at the end of a project

### Requirements

* Degree or HND qualified in Construction or Project Management
* Electrical infrastructure project experience up to 132kV, substation fit-out projects
* Understanding of the construction industry
* Understanding of legal documentation
* Maths and IT knowledge
* Strong leadership skills
* Business management skills
* Ability to use initiative
* Good verbal communication skills
* Driving License: Essential
