About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Estates team at the Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust as a Maintenance Assistant. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and continuous operation of our buildings.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with and carry out routine maintenance tasks, including statutory, mandatory, and planned minor repair works to a range of buildings and their components.
Liaise with the Estates Team Leader to request the supply of goods and/or services as necessary.
Undertake and assist with essential works and general maintenance activities at the request of the Estates Team Leader.

What We're Looking For

Qualified to level 3 vocational training for example, plumbing, electrical, joinery, flooring etc, or equivalent construction or building services experience.
Experience in a multidisciplinary organisation.
Knowledge of basic construction methods or building services testing and repair of estates.
