Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Care Specialist to join our team at Leaders In Care Recruitment Ltd. This exciting opportunity will allow you to further your career in paediatric care while working with a well-established provider of complex care packages within the community.

This role is based in North East London, where our company has secured new packages during an exciting growth phase.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is up to £50,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes 2 days working from home per week / 3 days in the community, Monday to Friday (9-5) hours, 33 days holiday, private pension scheme, use of pool company car or travel card for community travel, business travel expenses of £0.45 per mile, and an excellent Learning and Development programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver tailored care plans specific to individual clients' needs.
  • Effectively manage multidisciplinary teams through strong communication and teamwork.
  • Provide ongoing monitoring, support, and assessment of clients' physical and physiological needs within your caseload.
  • Deliver nursing interventions including the management of medicine delivery.
  • Build and maintain sophisticated relationships with clients' families.
  • Work closely with community teams, CHC nurses, and CCG commissioners to establish and maintain bespoke packages of care.
Requirements
  • RSCN with a minimum of 6 months in the UK and an active NMC PIN.
  • Supportive management style that can bring out the best in others.
  • Up-to-date experience of tracheostomy care and ventilators within the last 2 years.
  • Advanced communication skills verbally and written to liaise effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Suitable for Band 5 / Band 6 Nurses with evidence of effective leadership and management of HCAs.
  • Full UK Driving Licence desirable but not essential.
