Job Title: Children's Residential Support Worker

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our residential care team, you will provide high-quality support to vulnerable children and young people, enabling them to thrive in a safe and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the daily needs of children and young people, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, young people, and colleagues.
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for each child.
  • Participate in weekend and evening activities, supporting children's interests and promoting their social and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe and healthy environment, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of experience working with children or in a similar social care setting.
  • A valid UK driving license and a current Enhanced DBS on the update service.
  • The right to work in the UK.
