About the Role

iPeople Solutions is seeking an experienced social worker to join their Family Assessment and Support Team in Penzance, West Cornwall.

The successful candidate will work closely with other professionals to ensure effective front-line services that safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and experience working with children and families in a dynamic and supportive team environment.

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum depending on experience

Responsibilities:
  • Undertake social work assessments and complete work with children subject to Child in Need plans, Child Protection plans, and legal proceedings, as well as children in care
  • Develop and implement individualised plans to support children and families
  • Collaborate with other professionals to achieve positive outcomes for children and young people
Requirements:
  • Recognised social work qualification
  • Significant experience working within frontline statutory children and family teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
