Technical Business Development Executive

Rapiscan Systems is an industry leader in detection technology, providing solutions for cargo and vehicle inspection. We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Development Director to spearhead the development of commercial R&D activities.
The successful candidate will possess a PhD in a scientific discipline, preferably Physics, and have a proven track record in securing funding from external agencies. They will also have strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:- Develop a portfolio of Commercial R&D hubs and establish relationships with key stakeholders.
- Draft high-quality proposals to secure funding for advancing technologies.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with the CVI innovation roadmap.
Estimated salary: $150,000 - $220,000 per year. Location: USA.
