Job Title: Flow Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Flow Assurance Engineer to join our team at Subsea7, a global leader in the delivery of offshore projects and services for the energy industry.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing thermo-hydraulic analysis and thermal design of subsea equipment to achieve the production and design requirements of our most complex projects. This role requires a strong understanding of production and export systems, operating philosophies, and thermal management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform detailed thermo-hydraulic analysis to validate subsea system design and subsea equipment performance.
  • Develop and implement engineering solutions to specific job requirements.
  • Write clear, accurate, and concise technical reports.
  • Collaborate with flow assurance counterparts and within multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Support technical interfaces with internal and external stakeholders in flow assurance related topics.
  • Develop tools and processes to improve ways of working, facilitate technology implementation, and promote knowledge cross-fertilization with other functions/disciplines.
Requirements:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of multiphase flow & heat transfer analysis within Oil & Gas environment.
  • Understanding of key flow assurance related issues; hydrate, wax, scale, corrosion, asphaltene, liquid management, operability.
  • Proficiency with all flow assurance modeling tools including Olga, Pipesim, PVTSim, and Multiflash.
  • Good communication skills and ability to develop effective working relationships through good communication.
  • Able to perform most of the flow assurance activities without direct supervision.
