Job Title: Senior Flow Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Flow Assurance Engineer to join our team in London Global Project Centre (GPC) office on a permanent basis.

Job Summary:

The Senior Flow Assurance Engineer will be responsible for performing thermo-hydraulic analysis and thermal design of subsea equipment to achieve the production and design requirements of our most complex projects. The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of production and export systems, operating philosophies, and thermal management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform detailed thermo-hydraulic analysis to validate the subsea system design and subsea equipment performance considering project requirements and constraints from other disciplines.
  • Develop and define engineering solutions to specific job requirements.
  • Write clear, accurate, and concise technical reports.
  • Support a technical interface with internal and external stakeholders in flow assurance related topics.
  • Develop tools and processes to improve ways of working, facilitate technology implementation, and promote knowledge cross-fertilization with other functions/disciplines.
Requirements:
  • Significant knowledge of multiphase flow & heat transfer analysis within Oil & Gas environment.
  • Understanding of key flow assurance related issues; hydrate, wax, scale, corrosion, asphaltene, liquid management, operability.
  • Proficiency with all flow assurance modeling tools including Olga, Pipesim, PVTSim, and Multiflash.
  • Proven communication skills (verbal & written) and ability to develop effective working relationships through good communication.
  • Able to perform most of the flow assurance activities without direct supervision.
