About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our team at HC One. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Care Assistants in maintaining the highest standards of care and promoting a culture of kindness and respect.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans that cater to the unique needs and preferences of our residents.
- Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing essential physical and mental stimulation through a range of social and recreational activities.
- Administer medication and maintain accurate records of care provided.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
- Hold an S/NVQ 2 or 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification.
- Have a background in person-centered care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Be able to manage time effectively and maintain accurate records of care provided.
