Job Title: Maintenance Data Centre Site Manager

Location: Watford

Contract Duration: Immediate start until early December

Working Hours: 08:00-17:00

Pay rate: £245 - £285 per day (umbrella)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Data Centre Site Manager to oversee the operations of a live production facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing data centres and be proficient in handling various systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and Maintain Data Centre Infrastructure: Ensure optimal performance and uptime of data centre infrastructure.
  • Oversee Building Management Systems (BMS) and Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS): Monitor and manage BMS and UPS systems to ensure seamless operation.
  • Coordinate with Electrical and Mechanical Teams: Work closely with electrical and mechanical teams to address any issues promptly.
  • Ensure Compliance with Safety Regulations: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Conduct Regular Inspections and Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Manage Vendor Relationships: Manage vendor relationships and service contracts.
Requirements:
  • Proven Experience in Data Centre or Live Production Facility: Proven experience in managing data centres or live production facilities.
  • Proficiency in Managing BMS, UPS, and Other Systems: Proficiency in managing BMS, UPS, and other systems.
  • Strong Understanding of Electrical and Mechanical Environments: Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical environments.
  • Excellent Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
