About the Role

Cognitive Group | Part of the Focus Cloud Group is seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Manager to join our newly established Data Office capability. As a key member of our team, you will provide strategic oversight on all aspects of data governance, ensuring the highest standards of data quality, security, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish, maintain, communicate, and monitor adherence to data governance framework, processes, and standards.
  • Oversee the design and embedding of data governance controls and forums.
  • Maintain effective relationships with senior stakeholders, advocating for improved data risk management and practices.
  • Drive a data quality assurance approach, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Manage and empower other parties in the Data Office to play their role in governance, providing SME input to maturity assessments.
  • Support the operation of governance forums, ensuring seamless collaboration and decision-making.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have valid SC Clearance, active within the last 12 months. You will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
