Job Title: Lettings Negotiator

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lettings Negotiator to join our dynamic estate agency team in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire. As a Lettings Negotiator, you will play a crucial role in increasing our managed and let-only portfolios, maintaining a high standard in customer service, and upholding the company's reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate new landlord client leads and conduct property valuations
  • List properties onto the market with photography and instruct marketing boards
  • Update window displays and produce marketing material
  • Conduct property viewings with prospective tenants, showcasing available properties and highlighting key features
  • Negotiate offers from prospective tenants with landlords
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords and tenants, providing professional and personalized service throughout the letting process
  • Handle enquiries from applicants and tenants via various channels, promptly addressing their questions and concerns
  • Keep landlords updated on activity levels and assist with pricing
  • Deal with referencing and Right to Rent processes, keeping all parties updated
  • Assist in the preparation of tenancy agreements and relevant documentation, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company standards
  • Maintain data on our CRM system
  • Obtain positive reviews and testimonials
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about rental trends and pricing, contributing to the development of effective marketing strategies
  • Assist with property management and interim inspections as required

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience in lettings, with 2 years being ideal
  • Confident, driven, and committed individual
  • Good communicator with the ability to work well under pressure
  • Organized and able to maintain accurate records
