Your Role

As a qualified Early Years Bank Staff Member, you will be responsible for supporting our nursery colleagues in delivering the EYFS framework, engaging children in entertaining and educational play and activities, and ensuring their safety throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of the EYFS framework by engaging children in educational play and activities.
  • Work as part of a larger team to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed, maintaining hygiene standards and room preparation.
  • Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety, and safeguarding.
  • Maintain a positive, happy, and safe environment for children and colleagues.

Requirements

  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
  • Previous experience working with children (Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder, or similar).
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
  • Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
  • Sound understanding of child protection and the safeguarding of children.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is £12.19-£12.66 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
