Job Summary

The Clinical Care Director will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of clinical care and governance within the care home. Collaborating closely with nurses and carers, the primary focus will be on maintaining exemplary nursing and clinical care standards for residents. Supported by the management team, the Clinical Care Director's contributions will be vital to all clinical delivery aspects.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Clinical Leadership: Provide strong clinical leadership and direction to the nursing team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care.
  2. Mentorship and Training: Develop and implement training programs to promote best nursing practices and support the growth and development of team members.
  3. Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and policies, including audits, safeguarding, Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS), and Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards.

Requirements

  1. Clinical Expertise: Possess strong clinical skills and the ability to lead the nursing team.
  2. Education and Qualifications: Hold NMC registration and relevant post-registration experience.
