About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our team at Integral UK. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the safe execution of concurrent projects for various sites. You will ensure that projects are delivered to meet our high standards in regards to safety, quality, and programme, while complying with current legislation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide health and safety leadership to your site delivery team, promote behavioural safety improvements, and carry out regular site manager safety audits.
  • Support the project risk management process and ensure effective controls are established to ensure the safe and timely delivery of the project.
  • Support project opportunities to realise, maintain, and improve commercial project performance.
  • Promote, develop, and maintain effective client/stakeholder relationships to protect and enhance our company's reputation at site level.
  • Support the mandatory reporting of KPIs, Good Catches/Near Misses (GC/NM), accidents, and incidents as per our procedures.
  • Ensure our suppliers, sub-contractors, and direct workforce follow our company policies and procedures, including Health & Safety, Quality Assurance, and Engineering standards.
  • Carry out regular toolbox talks, daily activity briefings with our team and sub-contractors.
  • Maintain accurate records of works done and expenditure, reporting this information to the project manager where applicable.
  • Liaise with the project manager to order general materials as required to complete the project.
  • Coordinate all activities on site, issue permits in compliance with CDM and CSO6.
  • Liaise with the project manager to ensure that the works are delivered in accordance with the workbook.
  • Ensure works are carried out to a high standard, complying with relevant British Standards, codes of practice, and our company standards, and are completed snag and defect free.
  • Lead your team to deliver our company's management expectations successfully across all key areas of the project, managing and supporting the individuals and team that are under your control to meet and exceed business performance targets.
Requirements
  • Proven and demonstrable experience in the role of a supervisor/site manager.
  • Experience of external construction work, including groundworks, steel frame buildings, cladding, and drainage installation.
  • Experience of working in occupied buildings/campuses.
  • Experience of managing health and safety procedures and knowledge of H&S standards/regulations.
  • Ability to develop a good understanding of our customers' business requirements.
  • City & Guilds/NVQ (or equivalent) construction-related qualification.
  • SSSTS/SMSTS, JIB/BESA, CSCS Card, First Aid.
  • Competent user of IT software packages, including MS Office, Fieldview, or similar tablet-based quality assurance software.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with clear and confident written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of organisational ability, along with time management skills, to drive and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to all tasks undertaken, able to demonstrate initiative.
  • Commitment to providing a high-quality service, demonstrating reliability, conscientiousness, and flexibility.
  • Adept at working in a team and providing leadership/support to fellow team members.
