About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Ward Support Associate to join our team at Furness General Hospital. As a key member of our ward staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients.

The successful candidate will work closely with nursing staff to ensure that all aspects of patient care are met, including coordinating patient facilities services and ensuring that food is available to meet patients' needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • To coordinate all patient facilities services within the ward area
  • To ensure that the ward is a safe, clean, tidy, and comfortable environment
  • Ensure that food is available to meet patients' needs
  • Assist ward staff to receive, welcome, and guide patients and visitors onto the ward

The salary for this position is approximately £23,615 per annum.
