You have the opportunity to begin an exciting IT support career with Primary Goal Ltd, a company committed to providing comprehensive training and experience. This role is ideal for individuals looking to develop their skills in technical concepts and gain hands-on experience as a Level 3 Information Communications Technician.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to clients within the MSP framework, addressing and resolving incidents promptly.
  • Manage client servers, networks, and systems, ensuring adherence to best practices and security standards.
  • Travel to clients' sites to carry out hardware installations where required.
Technical Skills
  • Develop expertise in desktop support and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Familiarize yourself with Office 365, Azure/AD, Windows Desktop, and basic networking fundamentals.
  • Gain experience in application support and hardware peripherals.
Training and Development

You will receive comprehensive introductory modules to technical concepts, aligning with the Level 3 Information Communications Technician apprenticeship standard. This includes training for all pathways of your IT career (support technician, network technician, digital communications technician). Additionally, you will have access to virtual labs to develop technical competency and e-learning materials for continued learning.

As part of our programme, you will participate in bi-weekly virtual classroom training on all options of the apprenticeships. This collaborative environment will enable you to network with other apprentices, share ideas, and offer suggestions and support.

Our online portal provides you with information and technical guidance, along with links to the helpdesk for real-time advice and support.

Working Arrangements

This full-time position involves a 40-hour workweek, from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5 pm inclusive, with a 1-hour lunch break. Your salary will be £23,000 per annum, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.

Requirements
  • Hold GCSEs in English and Maths at grade 4 (or above) or Functional Skills Level 2 in these subjects.
  • Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and grow within the IT sector.
