Electrical and Instrumentation Quality Control Inspector

Westlakes Recruit is seeking a skilled Electrical and Instrumentation Quality Control Inspector to join our team on a permanent basis in the Bridgwater area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform inspections according to the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) to ensure compliance with ECS Code, drawings, vendor specifications, and code requirements.
  • Coordinate with the client's representative to conduct day-to-day inspections during construction activities.
  • Assist the QC Manager and Area Leads in executing their duties, including maintaining Lifetime Quality Records (LTQRs) and updating the SONIM register as needed.
  • Champion Foreign Material Exclusion to prevent the ingress or entrapment of non-specified materials, loose items, or debris in equipment and systems during assembly and testing.
  • Monitor and report compliance with quality standards and procedures for all installation, calibration, and testing processes within the electrical and instrumentation scope.
  • Recommend methods to improve overall quality and assist in analyzing quality concerns.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation, such as ONC / HNC / HND (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in Quality Control and Assurance, with a strong understanding of ECS Code and quality standards.
