About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for owning the baseline forecast in Exceedra, ensuring a rolling horizon of 18 months is maintained. This will involve holding monthly forecasting surgeries with National Account Managers (NAMs) to validate and jointly agree each customer forecasts, ensuring they are accurate with the latest information and insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain accurate and reliable forecasts to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with NAMs to validate and agree customer forecasts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Provide regular forecast variance and accuracy reporting to NAMs, offering root cause commentary and recommendations for improvement.
  • Support NAMs with promotional planning for their accounts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Represent customer accounts in monthly Demand Review meetings, providing insights and recommendations to drive business growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with market-wide and account-specific trends that affect customers, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a demand planning role, with a strong understanding of forecasting tools and techniques.
  • Proficiency in Exceedra (or another demand planning tool) and ability to analyze data to inform business decisions.
  • Strong relationships with retailers and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
