We are seeking an experienced Supervising Social Worker to join our team based in the Cambridgshire region. As a key member of our Fostering Team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the welfare of children in care and developing strong relationships with our foster carers.

Role Overview:

This full-time position involves working closely with foster carers, assessing their needs, and providing guidance to ensure the best possible outcomes for children in their care. You will be responsible for managing a caseload of up to 8 foster carers and contributing to the development of our therapeutic fostering services.

Responsibilities:
  • Casework Management: Managing a caseload of foster carers and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Assessment and Planning: Conducting thorough assessments and creating personalized support plans for foster carers.
  • Training and Development: Providing training and development opportunities to enhance the skills of foster carers.
  • Collaboration with Other Professionals: Working effectively with other professionals, such as social workers and healthcare providers, to ensure seamless care delivery.
