We are seeking an experienced Laboratory Technician to join our Lamination Technology team at Pertemps Warrington. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory work and a relevant qualification in a field such as engineering or the physical sciences.

As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Sample Manufacture: You will be responsible for creating and testing samples using specialist instruments and dedicated test equipment.
  • Test Planning and Reporting: You will be required to carry out and report detailed test plans, ensuring the highest level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Equipment Maintenance: You will be responsible for overseeing service schedules and ensuring that all equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.

In return, you will have the opportunity to work with a leading manufacturer of glass and glazing systems, contributing to the development of new laminated products for the architectural and automotive markets.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: You will have a minimum of 1 year's experience working in a laboratory environment.
  • Qualification: You will hold a HND/HNC/NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • Knowledge: While knowledge of glass products or processing is desirable, full training will be provided.
