Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Location: Ormskirk (L40)

Salary: £28,000- £33,000 (DOE) + Benefits

Shifts: Monday- Friday 08:30- 17:00

Contract Type: Permanent

Pertemps Warrington is seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our client's team in the Lamination Technology department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Sample manufacture, performing detailed measurements and assessments.
  • Carrying out and reporting detailed test plans.
  • Overseeing service schedules, ensuring calibration and any other routine maintenance activities are carried out in a timely manner.
  • General housekeeping of the laboratories and ensuring relevant HSE and Quality system documents are up to date.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience of working in a laboratory environment.
  • HND/HNC/NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant discipline (Engineering or the physical sciences).
  • Knowledge of glass products or processing would be a benefit.
  • Demonstrates a strong attention to detail and seeks to assure customer satisfaction.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
