Nurse Disability Assessor Role

Join Aspect Healthcare as a Nurse Disability Assessor and play a vital role in helping individuals with physical and/or mental health conditions access the benefits they deserve.

About the Role

As a Nurse Disability Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting thorough, holistic assessments with individuals who have a diverse range of health conditions. You will use your clinical expertise to gain a deep understanding of how their challenges and disabilities impact their daily lives.

You will work in an office-style environment, completing approximately 45-minute assessments over the telephone, video, or face-to-face. Your findings will be interpreted and presented in a comprehensive report to support the decision-making process by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).

Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with at least 1 year of post-registration experience
  • NMC pin registration required
  • UK experience essential
  • Proactive, keen to learn, and receptive to feedback
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and I.T competency
