We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as the Wet Farming Delivery Officer - Peatland Progress. In this role, you will be instrumental in carrying out the practical management and monitoring of wet farming plots (Paludiculture) as part of the National Lottery Heritage Funded Peatland Progress Project.

The successful candidate will have a pivotal role in delivering day-to-day practical management of wet farming plots, assisting with established monitoring programmes, and liaising with third parties working on sowing, cropping, and monitoring activities.

Key responsibilities will include site visits, outreach, digital engagement, social media activity, public speaking, and media engagement. You will also have the opportunity to use the Mobile Inspiration Hub, a trailer-mounted 'Tiny House' built partially of materials derived from paludicultural crops.

We are looking for a motivated and friendly individual who can bring their existing skillset to the team and leap straight into a complicated and exciting programme of activity. Practical experience and a can-do attitude are essential.

This is a fixed-term contract for four years, working 18.75 hours per week. The role could be combined with the Wet Farming Engagement Officer role to create a full-time post, subject to meeting certain criteria.
