Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Management Lead to join our team at West Leeds Family Practice, a well-established and respected GP training practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the management team and overseeing the production of performance and quality standards within the practice.

The ideal candidate will have previous management experience, leadership skills, and effective communication skills. They will also be able to maintain an oversight of NHS and CQC developments and legislative changes, advising GP Partners on their impact on the practice.

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong organizational and project management skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all actions from practice meetings are carried out, managing the procurement of practice equipment and supplies, and overseeing overall management of CQC compliance and records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an oversight of NHS and CQC developments and legislative changes
  • Advise GP Partners on the impact of these changes on the practice
  • Ensure all actions from practice meetings are carried out
  • Manage the procurement of practice equipment and supplies
  • Oversee overall management of CQC compliance and records
  • Ensure effective internal and external communications across a range of media
  • Project manage new and developing service change within the practice and PCN
  • Keep abreast of changes in employment legislation and ensure practice adherence
  • Ensure the practice complies with NHS contractual obligations in relation to patient care
  • Oversee continuous improvement and quality initiatives within the practice

Person Specification:

  • Previous management experience and leadership skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to maintain an oversight of NHS and CQC developments and legislative changes
  • Ability to advise GP Partners on the impact of these changes on the practice
  • Strong organizational and project management skills

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum
