Electrical Systems Technician

Safran Seats is a leading manufacturer of premium designer and industrial seats for First and Business Class aircraft. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Technician to join our team in the UK.

About the Role

This role involves working closely with our design engineering and operations departments to deliver new customer programmes into production on time, to cost, and to a high quality standard. Key responsibilities include checking supplied parts and assemblies, representing the department in product design reviews, analysing product design using CAD models, identifying assembly and manufacturing process improvement opportunities, building development articles, and maintaining engineering quality and integrity.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of BTEC L3 (electrical engineering) or equivalent experience/time served apprentice. Experience in aerospace seat manufacture at a defined competent level and knowledge of company and regulatory processes, standards, and specifications are essential. The successful candidate will also have good knowledge of design for assembly/manufacture principles and be able to assemble and wire electrical systems.
