About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Assistant to join our team at Riverside. As a Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to our customers, helping them to achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support and guidance to customers, helping them to access services and resources that meet their needs.
  • Work with customers to develop personalized support plans, setting goals and objectives that promote independence and self-management.
  • Assist customers with day-to-day tasks, such as managing finances, accessing healthcare services, and maintaining a safe and healthy living environment.
  • Collaborate with other teams and agencies to ensure a holistic approach to customer support, addressing complex needs and promoting positive outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote customer safety and well-being.
Requirements
  • Experience of working with vulnerable client groups, preferably in a housing or social care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet customer needs.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, with a willingness to learn specific IT systems used within Care and Support.
