Quantity Surveyor

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our Infrastructure team. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial and contractual aspects of our infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in creating a safe working environment and manage subcontract works packages, including interim assessments and change management.
- Produce and issue commercial notices, manage change, and produce Compensation Event Quotations.
- Liaise with operational and engineering staff to ensure site records are kept to the required standard.
- Produce detailed monthly reports and Cost Value Reconciliations.
- Develop and maintain a detailed 'Cost Plan', tracking and forecasting expenditure.
- Interpret and critically evaluate expenditure reports produced by internal cost systems.
- Attend weekly progress and risk reduction meetings with clients and subcontractors.
About You:
- Good appreciation of standard forms of contract and strong IT skills, including Excel, Word, and Contractual and Cost Management Systems.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication capabilities, solid knowledge of construction processes, and first-class time and outcome management skills.
- Professional qualification such as MCIOB or MRICS, ideally Incorporated member, working towards full membership.
- Relevant degree and/or experience of working in a relevant Commercial environment.
