Workshop Administrator

Smallridge Bros Ltd is a leading John Deere tractor and agricultural machinery dealer with a strong presence in Devon and Cornwall. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Workshop Administrator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer service processes to maximize administrative efficiency and support the depot service manager.
  • Assist the service team in maintaining accurate and on-time reports and records.
  • Monitor and consolidate time logs for service technicians.
  • Receive and direct internal and external customer inquiries for the service department.
  • Check work orders before submission to the service manager and customers.
  • Maintain service department filing, records, and department information.
  • Open and close work orders as directed by the depot service manager.
  • Coordinate training attendance and process warranty and/or product improvement claims.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.
  • Understanding of service software in the dealer business system and Deere warranty system.
  • Advanced written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to create, analyze, and interpret reports.
  • Organizational skills with attention to detail.
