About the Role

If so, we would love to hear from you Durham County Council is seeking a Home Care Professional to join our team at Harbour Lodge Extra Care Scheme.

Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is £18,130 - £20,305 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, you will receive 27 days holiday per year rising to 32 days after five years continuous local government service, as well as access to a range of benefits including pension scheme, wellbeing portal, and discounted gym membership.

About the Job
As a Home Care Professional, your primary responsibilities will include providing personal care, supporting daily living activities, and promoting independence among service users. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver exceptional care and make a real difference in people's lives.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have a commitment to delivering high-quality care and a willingness to learn and develop new skills. A NVQ Level 2 in Care or a willingness to achieve within a set timescale is also desirable. Our ideal candidate will be caring, patient, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
