Electrical Inspector

Salter Grange is partnering with a leading Engineering Contractor to recruit a QA/QC Electrical Inspector for a high-profile Engineering project, focusing on a major Data Centre Development in London.

The successful Electrical Quality Assurance Specialist will join a specialist Engineering Contractor on a high-profile, major Data Centre Development with an Electrical Package Value of over £100m, contributing to a highly regarded company recognized for its strong Preconstruction Engineering, Project Management capabilities, and smooth Project Delivery.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, Electrical trade or degree qualified, and a proven track record in the Data Centre industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of the quality of installations.
• Owner of snagging the installation both on scheduled walkdowns and observations.
• Critique installations to ensure the clients walkdown is a snag free exercise.
• Deliver First of a kind process and sign off.
• Document Control of Construction Drawings, Schedules and Specifications.
• QA Owner of allocated Turnover scope to take from construction completion through Testing, inspecting and handover.
• Partake in Quality Surveillance Programme.
• Compilation of turnover packs.

Requirements

• Electrical trade qualified or degree qualified
• 3 years' experience in a similar role.
• Excellent knowledge of electrical systems.
