We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Learning Support Worker to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd.

About the Role:

As an SEN Learning Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, PLMD, MLD, and SLD. Your primary responsibility will be to provide individualized support to students, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Learning: Assist in the delivery of tailored lessons, providing 1:1 or small group support to meet individual student needs.
  • Foster Development: Create a positive and inclusive environment, focusing on students' social and emotional wellbeing.
  • Collaborate: Work alongside teachers, parents, and colleagues to develop and implement EHCPs and track student progress.
  • Engage and Inspire: Use creative approaches to engage students, helping them to overcome challenges and celebrate their achievements.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience supporting individuals with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or disabilities.
  • Full-time availability preferred.
  • Experience working with children, ideally within an educational setting.
  • Reliable, with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Access to your own vehicle and a valid driving licence.
  • Confident in managing challenging behaviour and navigating difficult situations.
  • A genuine passion for making a positive impact on young people's lives.
