Job Title: Registered Care Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Care Manager to join our expanding team at Home Instead Ballymena. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the growth and development of our domiciliary care services, ensuring outstanding quality care for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the setup, growth, and development of a high-quality private domiciliary care service for older people in the local area.
  • Network in the local community to raise awareness of the service and promote the highest standards of care and service.
  • Offer support and leadership to the care team, ensuring effective management of client needs and day-to-day operations.
  • Converting new client enquiries and coordinating staffing rotas to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with legal and organisational requirements, ensuring compliance with relevant NI legislation and regulations.
  • Perform quality assurance visits for clients, continually reviewing and improving our processes to ensure the most effective and efficient service is always being delivered.
  • Effectively manage complaints and incidents, using findings to initiate improvements and drive quality enhancements.
  • Participate in the On-Call rota as required, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness to meet business demands.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a management role in health and social care is essential.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well and accurately under pressure, remaining calm whilst dealing with multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of relevant NI legislation and regulations governing the provision of care services, including RQIA regulations and NISCC.
  • Good working knowledge of IT Systems, with experience of Microsoft Office and ability to work with large databases and virtual communication platforms.
  • Possess the appropriate combination of qualification, registration, and experience as set in the Domiciliary Care standards.
