Job Description

We are seeking an experienced GIS Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and analyzing geographic data to support our archaeological projects.

Key Requirements

">
  • Proven experience in working with GIS software, including ArcGIS and QGIS;
  • Degree or postgraduate qualification in archaeology or a related discipline;
  • Experience of working on a wide range of archaeological projects and site types;
  • A working knowledge of GPS and GIS, as well as total stations and photogrammetry;
  • A current UK driving licence and willingness to drive for business needs.

Job Specification

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing and analyzing geographic data to support our archaeological projects;
  • Developing and maintaining GIS databases and systems;
  • Providing expert advice on GIS and spatial analysis;
  • Working closely with our project teams to deliver high-quality projects.

Salary and Benefits

">

The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a generous benefits package, including agile working, annual leave entitlement, and access to our Vivup benefits and discounts platform.
