Job Title: Health and Environmental Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Environmental Manager to join our team at Morgan Ryder. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and relevant legislation, while driving sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain HSE documentation and systems in line with ISO standards and legal requirements.
  • Conduct and oversee risk assessments and develop Safe Systems of Work to ensure compliance with HSE legislation.
  • Provide support during audits and collaborate with management to drive continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental practices.
  • Deliver internal HSE training, including employee inductions, and foster a strong safety culture on-site.
  • Track and report on safety performance, identifying key areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with HR on health and wellbeing initiatives to support staff across the site.
  • Lead the delivery of the annual Health & Safety Plan, working to improve safety performance year-on-year.
  • Contribute to the company's environmental sustainability goals, driving initiatives to meet targets.

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) is essential, with a Diploma being highly desirable.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing FMCG industries is preferred.
