£33,024 - £41,418 per annum, plus a 15% market supplement of £4,953 to £6,212

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to join our Assessment Team. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a permanent role with competitive pay, supporting families in need of early intervention, safeguarding, and assessment services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct timely and thorough assessments of families referred to the service.
  • Work closely with families to identify risks, strengths, and needs, ensuring appropriate interventions are in place.
  • Develop and implement family-centred care plans, ensuring safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Collaborate with professionals from other agencies, including health, education, and housing, to provide holistic support.
  • Attend multi-agency meetings, case conferences, and court proceedings as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, adhering to legal and professional standards.

Requirements:

  • Qualification in Social Work or related field registered with relevant authorities.
  • Experience in assessment, safeguarding, or statutory social work roles.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, safeguarding practices, and assessment frameworks.
