The University of Liverpool is pleased to announce the creation of the Ivens Fellowships, named in honour of Dr Frances Ivens, the first female consultant in Liverpool. This prestigious opportunity is designed to attract future world-class research leaders in the field of clinical research.
Key Highlights- Up to 4 positions available as clinical lecturers for up to 4 years, with automatic progression to a tenured clinical senior lecturer/consultant post.
- 50% academic and 50% clinical working in one of our partner trusts, depending on the area of clinical specialty.
- Targeted at candidates with evidence of research excellence through successful grant awards and high-quality publications.
- Applications welcomed from medically qualified doctors in any clinical specialty related to our existing University research strengths.
