Business Change and Communications Manager

Role Overview

This role is responsible for Communications within the People (HR) and Finance transformation programme. A high-priority, strategic transformation programme operating with multiple programme streams and sub-workstreams, delivering functional and technology change across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a communication plan to engage collaborators, customers, partners, and colleagues.
  • Shape and deliver a Communications strategy and plan that builds enthusiasm for change and empowers colleagues to lead, embrace, and embed change.
  • Work with various teams to develop and deliver on-brand messaging for change management and user adoption.
  • Manage and improve internal communication channels, including town halls, live events, intranet, internal social media platforms, and digital tools.
  • Create and implement a comprehensive communication plan for the system cutover phase.
  • Establish metrics to assess the efficiency of communication efforts. Analyse data and insights to continuously improve communication strategies and tactics.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience delivering communications on large, complex programmes.
  • Experience of crafting/delivering communications to facilitate people-centred Technology change in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Experience of one or more finance and/or people system implementations preferable, particularly experience of Oracle Fusion an advantage.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, able to engage and motivate others and drive agreement for change.
  • Knowledge of desktop publishing, web-based communications, and web page development.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Understanding of core areas of change management (change theory, engagement, behaviours and training).
