About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate / Senior Associate to join our team at Birketts. As a key member of our Planning and Environmental department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality legal services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional, proactive, and high-level legal support to our clients, including planning and environmental advice.
  • Manage a diverse caseload of planning and environmental work, including high-quality planning advice to local planning authorities, housebuilders, and development clients.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to drive business growth and development.
  • Contribute to the development of our Planning and Environmental practice, including identifying new business opportunities and implementing process improvements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of post-qualification experience in Planning and Environmental law.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality legal services and managing complex caseloads.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
