We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our Regulatory Reporting IT team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your technical expertise and business acumen to drive the delivery of high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with upstream teams to ensure the delivery of data points required for regulatory applications.
  • Define quality/acceptance criteria and test cases in agreement with business stakeholders.
  • Take ownership of end-to-end testing activities, including regression testing.
  • Undertake analytical work, including data mining and gap analysis, as directed.
  • Adhere to project management methodologies, such as agile culture and development processes.

About the Role

This role requires a deep understanding of trading book asset classes, including interest rate derivatives, SFTs, bonds, credit derivatives, and equities. You will also need proven experience within the field of UK/EU Pillar 1 Prudential Regulatory Reporting, including COREP Own Funds, Leverage Ratio, Large Exposures, FRTB, and Bank of England Statistical reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in translating business requirements into detailed functional specifications.
  • Knowledge of relational database design and ability to write SQL queries against Oracle & MS SQL Server.
  • Experience of XML, JSON, and MongoDB is desirable but not essential.
