About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forensic Psychology Specialist to join our Integrated Mental Healthcare team at HMP YOI Doncaster, a category B remand prison housing around 1145 patients.
Job Summary
This exciting opportunity is ideal for a newly qualified or experienced Psychologist familiar with working with adult mental health presentations, including neurodiversity and complex trauma.
Main Responsibilities
- Offer clinical support and oversight to the Integrated Mental Health Team in the form of training
- Undertake psychological assessments and support complex multi-disciplinary formulations
- Deliver and oversee the delivery of 1:1 psychological interventions and group intervention as part of the Trauma Informed 'Making Sense' Programme
- Deliver teaching and training to healthcare and prison staff where required
- Contribute to the development of audit, service evaluation, and research profile as appropriate

Requirements
The successful candidate will hold Full HCPC registration, proven post-qualification professional experience in Clinical/Forensic or Counselling Psychology, and experience working with Forensic Mental Health patients and psychological trauma.
Salary and Benefits
This part-time position offers up to £60,530 per annum FTE, depending on experience. You will also enjoy discounts on shopping and leisure activities, support to grow in your role, and heavily subsidised lunch on site.
